I think my GPS issues were
WeatherBug related also. I had trouble uninstalling- tried several times but screen would go black and a droid OS file would crash (sorry, I didn't note the name). On one of the last attempts, my phone just rebooted by itself.
The odd thing is that lately my phone has randomly rebooted several times. We'll see how things go after getting rid of WeatherButt...
