What are you wanting with 2.1 that rooting is gloing to do for you? 5 screens? The only reason I would see getting worked up over an update is if my current version was buggy and my phone didn't work properly. Motorolas been in this game for a long time and when they feel like the device they made and created is ready for the android update I will update. Until then I'm going to enjoy having arguably one of the most powerful and customizable phones in the US market.
Do we all want the update for a reason or are we all envious that there's a more powerful and updated android device out there?
