It's been a while. Did you ever figure out a solution?
I also want to create a custom map on Google Maps on my computer, and then somehow load it into my phone, put on my headphones, get on my bike, and listen to turn-by-turn directions for my custom route.
The start and end points are both my house, but I usually like to do a 10 or 15 mile loop.
I would love to sit at the computer and plot a course through all the twisty side streets, then get on the bike and just mindlessly be told when to turn, and so I could just look at the architecture and sites, and not the map.
I've had people suggest all kinds of things ... runkeeper mapMyRide OSMand, but I don't see anywhere in the reviews or descriptions that they do what we want them to do.
