never heard of "jetflicks", but many apps such as Netflix, NFL, Samsung Media Hub, Blockbuster, etc. block the HDMI out feature due "copyright" reasons.
apps that do NOT block HDMI include Google Videos and Watch ESPN (as well as any M-peg video file stored on your device)
