See if you can find the issue already posted. If not, make your own thread.

If you want to try flashing back to 2.3.6, try installing this update from the recovery console (note, I am assuming you have the I9020T or I9023): http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/google_crespo/1ada25375426.signed-soju-ota-189904.1ada2537.zip

Assuming the file lets you install it, it should work to downgrade you back to 2.3.6. You'll want to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset in the recovery before trying to install it. And no promises. You do this at your own risk.
