I was set to CDMA only when I did this. The phone worked fine the rest of the night, but as soon as I switched batteries, it went into boot loop. My theory is that as soon as we try and do simultaneous data/talk on 3g, it changes the setting to WCDMA PREFERRED. Then when you try to reboot the phone, the Sim card doesn't recognize this. I'm curious to know if anyone else was doing data/talk before they went into boot loop.
Are you a Verizon customer? I am and cant use data and talk at the same time. Are you a root user?
