This has probably been done already, but I emailed Acer Support last night and asked them if there is any information on ICS eventually being released for the A500. They replied today that they have 'no information' on that at all. Tight-lipped, I guess.

I figure if it happens, it will be because some of our marvelous developers MAKE it happen on their own. I was reading some really good *opinion* about why Acer would not want to push ICS to their sold tablets, but would instead release a new tablet with it. I have to admit those comments I read did make a lot of sense. Especially in office environments where some poor IT people are having to support dozens of existing tablets, which could have their installed software suddenly 'broken' by the apparent major changes the article says ICS will bring when it releases.
