[QUOTE=aznboi2000;3778394]Just got the phone today and used my old SD card from my old phone and the song names reverted back to the original file name which makes some songs look like "01 holy wars... the punishment due" which annoys the hell out of me. Been fooling around with it but I can't find anyway to change the name?[/QUOT

Directory programs, such as your phone's Files app, use the MP3's file name. But the Music app pulls the track name from the ID3 metadata contained within each MP3 file.

To change this, you'll need to open each MP3's ID3 tag and change the track name there. You can download free tools to do the job. Google 'ID3 editor' and pick the one that looks best to you.

(I purchased the Goldwave audio editor and, among other things, use it to edit ID3 tags. Goldwave is available in a free trial version from http://www.goldwave.com It's overkill as an ID3 editor, but it's the right tool to correct the bad mixes I often find on CDs that have been remastered from vinyl.)

Good luck!

Tom
