remenber you cannot have the drive mounted if you want to use Kies, unmount the drive first (on phone and maybe the laptop too if the drive E doesn't disappear) then Kies should find your phone.

also always when the phone drive is mounted you have to unmount before pulling out the usb cable or your phone SD card data may get damaged.

Sorry but I am having trouble understanding what you wrote! (Mounted)? (drive mounted)?
