Iam in the UK and was to impatient to wait so I unlocked my xoom and installed the US rom from moto dev. I then got a notification straight away and after a few updates Iam now running ICS without any problems :-)
Not sure on the state of the sd card though as I never used to use it... I hardly touch the 32gb I already have. Ill check it out though and post back and let you know
