I saw this in Jason's signature line above:

I have an Eris phone with a rom version 1.5 or something.

Can it be upgraded to a 2.1 version or that something else?

I am quite annoyed with the way that the touch screen works. I'm hoping to find some kind of upgrade that might fix these problems.
