Ok so what is the best way to go back to stock?

I want to go back to a clean slate for two reasons.

Hopefully clean up some issues from the multiple roms and kernels Ive flashed.

Possibly try the new leak ota 4.0.4.

Id like to keep root, but if I have to go back to bone stock, which thread/tip is the best way to go?
