My intrernet connection is showing constant activity! For hours at a time. I installed NetMeter and the red graph verifies this. It's a lot of activity. So much so that my phone gets *hot* behind the trackball. And my bettery drains very fast.
Is there any way I can see what process is using the internet? I was hoping NetMeter would do this, but it's not. I just shows a list of all processes. Even if I reboot the phone and don't run any apps it still sometimes does this. That sort of imples that it's a system process that's doing this, or a background activity that runs at startup.
So, any ideas how I can check which process is using the connection? Anyone else have a similar problem?

There are 2 apps you should probably have.... you'll need to download them both from the market first is (APPER) it will allow you to manage and see what permissions your apps have (inclidong battery killers and data killers) you can check it out here
Cyrket - Apper and second is (log collector) it will pull your phones logs so you can see everything that it does you can check it out here
Cyrket - Log Collector once you get everything sorted out let us know the outcome or the app causing your issues....
