But that file is only 37k.
This entry seems like a potential problem:

Hmmm downloading 32MB zip files just might monopolize my internet connection!
I thought the JesusFreke version of Android was supposed to disasble all over the air updates? Android certainly never asks me to install this update. I thinks it's getting downloaded over and over again. It'll take hours to get, then fail to run, then get downloaded again a couple of hours later.
I don't know what I'm going to do now. I may just wipe my phone and install the normal, non-root version. The only thing I'll miss is the ability to take screenshots. But first I'll poke around the web and see if this is a known issue, and see if there is a resolution.
Thanks for pointing me to the Log Collector! It was very helpful!

APPER is equally as useful and before you jump ship and re-root your phone you might want to take a look at the selection of builds out there, i have a page (
Android Build Downloads ) with "most of the builds" and there well over 50 versions of rooted builds to download... and you said you are running jf but do you know which version as he had 4 versions of the 1.5 (cupcake) alone... might be more useful to ask around and see what builds everyone else are currently using... my self i run Cyanogens' build cm3.6.1 and couldnt be happier with it...
