Hi all, I bought my HTC Hero just week ago and have same problem with dropping wifi signal. When I'm on open network or my friend's wifi it works great and it just ensure me that Hero is great phone.
It seems problem is with my router. I use DrayTek Vigor 2700 VGST with latest firmware. I tried allmost all suggestions from this thread, I installed wifi fixer, add MAC address, change security etc. but the problem with dropping signal persist so I thought if someone is using similar router and know how to fix it or what could be the problem.
If I install Wifi static, do I have to change router settings from dynamic IP to static? I'm not really into all this router stuff but thanks to Hero I've learned lot
I'd greatfull for any advise.
