This really dampers my enthusiasm on possibly getting the N1.
MY Behold 2 has an AMOLED screen as well and it has taken many a 4 - 6 ft drop on marble/linoleum/concrete. Did a drop kick & roll once and it slide about 8 feet and yet the screen is still solid, no scratches. The most that has ever happened, the back plate flew off with the battery but that's about it. Boots right back up like a champ ... plus, I'm not a believer in screen protectors or cases. It takes away from the beauty of the device.
