No one is blindtrusting anyone. Its not like youre signing your soul away, you are not LOSING ANYTHING. If you choose not to believe it, thats totally fine. No one is forcing it onto you. Did you take into consideration my example? Same situation here. I'm not going to jump in 100% and say, "i know hes telling the truth - im willing to bet my life on it".. no. But another rumor to possibly follow is fine with me. In the end, a rumor is a rumor - regardless of who's saying.. whether its Engadget claiming they talked to some unknown source that's friends with Eric Schmidt or a random member on here. Nothing is concrete until an official announcement is made. So as with all rumors, you obviously would be naive to fully trust it, however, following it for what it's worth is not harming anyone including yourself. I think you said it best in your last line.. trust but verify. But when the means to verify aren't possible, then you take whats out there
