reasons why I should not trade in my G1 for iphone?

I dont want this to be a iphone G1 Comparison review, and I love the android concept and my G1 phone, BUT ....
Im am getting sick and tired of the non stop lag. Everything I do is lagged behind. Icons popping up, applications running and stalling. Yes I have closed everything. not sure what the point is if you have a $400 phone. Yes I have wiped the phone clean 3X. There is still 20mb left of internal memory.
My brothers iphone i used again and everything is so smooth scrolling. Everything pretty much just pops up. you can type a message or google search without the pausing wondering what you are doing. I understand this is a new OS but so was Iphone and it didnt have this much pausing and jerking around.
Please tell me reasons why I should not go out and trade my G1 for an Iphone. dont want to complain but this is ridiculous.
