It's one of the defining points of Google Voice...to not use the cell networks, so you don't use your minutes...which is a threat to the whole current price structure of...nevermind. But if you don't know what you're talking about, don't post and confuse people.

Google Voice by itself is not VOIP. Try disabling your mobile network and trying using Google Voice on your phone. I clicked on your cute link and found tons of links saying it is NOT VOIP
is google voice a form of voip? so if i used used it on my droid to make calls would it use my minutes - Google Voice Help
