My wife has this phone for over a year now and its good but not great. If I were you I would use your exchange period and get an Epic 4g Touch/Galaxy S2 (This is my current phone) or a different phone from HTC that is getting Android 4.0 Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich Updates
Appreciate the concern, but couple reasons why i choose the shift. Primary being I dislike new phone designs that focus on screen size over functionality which also kills batteries. 2nd being the full keyboard and the other phone that has a keyboard offered by sprint is a samsung, and i do not trust samsung devices anymore.

Also, this can be said about all cell phones. Eventually they will be left in the dust.
