1.25.16.5612. Both version have had the voice input option, so I'm a bit confused. When I'm in Handcent and I'm SWYPE'ing, I can press the Menu button and I get a "Speak" option. Maybe it's because I have the 2.1 keyboard installed. Or maybe it's because I have the TalkToMe Keyboard app installed ... I don't know.
Ahh....thanks for the additional info. Handcent provides voice input natively on their pop-up, so more likely that you're using the voice feature provided by Handcent. I switched to Chomp a little while ago, so I can't check right now, but that's probably it, especially if you're seeing the option on the standard physical Menu key, which I believe always links to the currently running module, not the input method.
Now that I've turned off Word Prediction and found the other "missing" keyboards (numeric 10 key and selection/edit) I'm very, very happy w/the new beta.
