This was my first smartphone too. Wish list: a "Commando 2" with a minimum dual core 1.2 ghz processor, 1 gb of ram, 1 gb internal storage, 4G LTE, Ice Cream Sandwich and a 3300 mah battery. Maybe a little bigger screen too. That G shock phone prototype will never be in my pocket unless it looks way better than in the picture. I have a Casio watch, but it's not a g-shock. I'm very much a function over form kinda guy but I have my limits. The device can't be uglier than my butt.
I ported ICS to my tablet a couple of weeks ago and liked it very much. Faster and smoother than Gingerbread with better menus. I went back to Gingerbread though because the CM9 build of ICS wouldn't tether to my Commando. That was a dealbreaker. Function over form.
