you don't need SPC to fix Wifi.....
For me I did the following
1- Clear all and reset
2-Installed
Samsung Official 2.3.6 Update (I should take only 2-3minutes)
3- Apply the
Cyanogenmod 7.2 (Android 2.3.7) (it should take less than 5-10 Minutes)
My Wifi was working after that.... Give it a try
