I'm not too sure what that is - sounds like HTC would remotely log into your phone to fix it.

What software do HTC provide in order to update their phones? I'm suggesting you use that to 'update' your phone. Although it won't updated it per se, but it should wipe the current build and update to the last known good software from their servers, if that makes sense? Just in case the software that was already loaded on your handset is faulty.

Might be worth a try?
