-The stock "play movies" app is a joke. A) it defaults to 'my rentals' which don't exist in my world. and B) it just lists the local videos by name...no thumbnail or anything.
-The Gallery starts out OK, but once you get past the original folders/albums, it only does thumbnails, no video titles.
-QQ Player - well, it seems like a Chinese knock-off video player. There's nothing to it but a vertical list of videos (at least it has thumbnails) on a background. It doesn't go full screen or hide the bottom bar, and it seems really buggy.
-MixZing just displays a list of files. Blah.
-Mobo player doesn't show folder structures (important for TV series), plus it keeps the bottom bar active/visible.

-MX Player is probably my favorite at this point. It keeps folder structures (though I wish it did folder thumbnails). It dims the bottom bar. Though, honestly, I'd rather it go full screen and hide the bottom bar altogether.

I actually kind-of like the setup of WebOS where you have a gallery view with thumbnails and some sense of organization.
Personally, I think the best video player for any Adreno 220-based device is Dice player. Mx player is okay as well, but it does not have the capability to force hardware acceleration on unsupported file types such as mkv or flv. If you want to play full HD h.264 high profile 1080p videos mkv formats, it is hard to find anything better than Dice player.
