edit: Cleared calendar data in manage applications and the phone would sleep, re synced and its still sleeping...for now. If this don't work I might wipe it and start over...hopefully since this isnt widespread i just had something whacky in there from one of my sports calendars or something. If it does start acting up again try going into Settings > Accounts & Sync > Google (for the email your calendar is linked to) and uncheck Sync Calendar. This will shut off the sync all together. Then you can wipe the calendar again and start adding them back one by one to see if you can find the problem child. I currently sync about 14 different calendars to mine and haven't run into any problems. All of mine are just regular google calendars though. I don't have any iCal stuff.
