It's been stated in previous posts in this thread that the 'Lite' version does not support Multitouch. While I feel like there is some confusion amongst all of the different versions, maybe xScope, the developer can address the differences in Lite vs. the others.
Some other issues you may be running into could be caused by the
previously documented issues with the multitouch on the Nexus One when pitted against the Motorola Droid. See this video for an example.
