Entitled to your opinion, that's fine.

I'm confused. What about this phone is keeping you from the Android experience? What can't it do that others aside from the N1 and Droid can?

Untrue. They've already said that the BH2 will receive 2.1. And of course there was the leaked info from Androidandme.com that every Android phone will be upgraded. Also, remember the brand new fancy commercial Samsung did on the BH2? Do you think they'd drop millions in advertisements if they had no plans to keep it going for the future?

Clearly you weren't reading these forums. This forum is littered with how-to's regarding customizing your phone. Rooting or not, the phone is just like any other Android phone and can be completely customized to your tastes. And yes, it is open source. Where do you think the apps come from? Go find me a rooted iPhone that hasn't been destroyed.

It's still being advertised, as mentioned above. They have high expectations and good intentions for this phone. Many Samsung reps have relayed this info to many TMobile reps. It wasn't "over promised" in any way. It was hyped just as much and no less than every other Android phone.

What does this have to do with the phone? Did you ever consider doing some research on the causes of this? If you had bad reception from the beginning, you should have either A) asked for a replacement to see if it was indeed the phone or B) taken it back in exchange for another.

Not everyone that works in a company will be knowledgeable of upcoming changes to their products. It takes a while to get down the pipeline. Their job isn't to provide you with unreleased information. In regards to TMobile's customer service, I direct you to J.D. Fair enough. Thanks for letting us know.

The simple responsible thing we can all due here is attempt to educate other consumers to, what I would basically say is a product, Behold 2, not ready for market and services from T-Mobile/Samsung, not ready to support their customers post-purchase.
You do realize that you're in a forum where we actually like our BH2, right? This is a great place to make your phone better until Samsung and TMobile push 2.x to our phones. You are correct in that if no one buys a product, they will make a change. But people do like this phone and as people have already mentioned, it is one of the top Android phones aside from the N1 and Droid.

Cool. Nothing wrong with that. Hope you find what you're looking for!
