Read all the posts above you. There was a 2.3.3 update from the LG support website about 5 months ago. It caused a lot of problems and has been pulled by LG. I updated to 2.3.3 and returned about 5 phones under warranty. There have been promises to come out with a fixed update, but so far nothing. You are better off waiting. I am currently on 2.1 and have learned to accept that this is as good as it gets with this phone. If you want an updated OS, I suggest that you buy a new phone (IMO, that is why there are so many Android sales).
