This is absolutely ridiculous. Samsung or Verizon or Google need to address this al-freaking-ready. If it's a hardware problem, let us swap the device (which it either isn't or they don't fix, as many people here
reported refurbished devices still have the problem) or if it's software at least tell us that the update WILL fix it. And release the update already. Geez.
This phantom OTA update is starting to look like the release thread. The OTA is perpetually 1 month out, I swear. It's obviously still there in 4.0.4 and isn't specific to Verizon as there are users in that google code thread reporting the problem on 4.0.4 on GSM phones in other countries.
Samsung's blanket "there are no known issues with the galaxy nexus" are starting to really piss me off, too.
