The Evo 4G that I bricked was dead, Dead, DEAD!!!
Not even the Sprint service center could detect any sign of life, so how is it possible to bring a brick to life?
Maybe I used the wrong term...

What I mean by bricked was, the phone would not go past the initial red M. Hence, the phone would not boot up what ever I did to try and fix it. I had to reload the entire operating system.

Maybe your phone had a hardware issue?
