I'm also very disappointed in the approx 1 inch of soft key space at the bottom of the screen in some apps. HTC removed the menu button from the permanent soft key lineup and then had to add nearly a half inch of screen to replace it! That was just moronic.
And getting rid of the long press shortcuts, and adding a dedicated recent app button.... Really...
I feel like I am holding Frankenstein's monster. Not because of the looks, but because it's a brilliant piece of technology with baffling power (the hardware is simply amazing in it's performance), but it's been mentally damaged (HTC "Sense" is now just a pun as far as I'm concerned). |
on another note though, are there really some settings missing ??? I haven't noticed. I was also surprised there wasn't a menu button like we're used to, but I wouldn't call getting to the new settings cumbersome...it's still same number of steps to get in I think. old way was menu,settings....new way is notification window,settings. not too bad IMO,just have to get used to new way of doing it..
