Because it's over-complicated and doesn't function as well - my buddy had a parrot and then a BT-capable deck. Neither one worked well and this guy went balls-out to set it up nice - even bought a higher-end mic for it.
I understand wanting to get in your car and have it automatically pair; that is kind of cool. But I leave my phone next to my e-brake where the aux cable isn't even noticeable. Not a big deal to me, but to each their own.
