This is how I got mine to show up. I first made sure that my sd card was in place in the phone. Then I pulled down the status bar and pressed the key for usb storage and made sure that was on. Then I went back to my computer, and on the start menu I opened devices andprinters and opened the smasung android device. I populated the device and it appeared both on the computer screen and recognized on the device.
