Hi everyone, the "charging paused voltage too high" IS definitely a software problem. I'm on t-mobile in the UK and I had this problem on my s2, tried taking the battery out, all the usual, worked for a while but then comes back.so I took it back into the T-mobile store and the guy said its a software fault and its covered under the contract (so no need to use my insurance excess) they sent it off, got it back in a works like magic, happy days :-) hope this helps
