I currently use a 32GB 3GS. My N1 is being delivered today. The primary reasoning for my switch is that I hate, hate, hate iTunes. I'm a windows user and I can honestly say that iTunes is the one application that I can count on to hang, crash, or become unresponsive at any given time.
I tried the Motorola Droid a couple months ago, which required a switch from AT&T to Verizon, but after 25 days I went back to the iPhone. I was hung up on the apps I had already purchased from Apple and the difference in responsiveness between the two phones. (iPhone was much more responsive than the Droid. ) This time (being that I don't need to switch carriers), I'm going to hang on to my iPhone and give the N1 a solid try. I'm really hoping the 3G reception issue is not a problem for me or my area.
I can understand your switch back to the iPhone platform. Apple may be nazi-esque in their control of hardware and software, but damnit all if the phone isn't just sweet butter.
