Gemini Calendar (free or paid version) lets you associate an address book entry with an appointment via its "add special" menu option. It is not clear to me whether this is what you are asking about.

The paid version of Gemini Calendar also does something which no other android calendar (to my knowledge) can do: it lets you move an appointment to a different Google Calendar.
