That's the thing. The Nexus hardware is beautiful. I love MOST of Android. The design of the OS is genius. I like how universal some things are. On an iPhone app, I have to look for the on screen button ("i") for the app's options and settings. With Android, the Menu key gives it to me an ANY app.

With 2.1 they brought in the eye candy (3D Launcher, animations and live wallpaper). I always thought they needed some of that.

I just think that Google needs to hire a dedicated team to focus on Android multimedia... not just for phones... but they could tap into an entirely different market. Take aim at iPod Touch and Zune HD.

With the open market place, I am very surprised that developer has not made a better music player. Hell... even of they blatantly rip off the "iPod" app from the iPhone.

Oh well. I change phones like I change underwear, so I will be back!
