Well, the cortex processor has it's GPU which helps things A LOT. Our processor, though, is not bad itself. I'm just saying, compared to a Cortex processor, it's not even worth a shot.
As to our processor being what was in the original iPhone... I think the original iPhone used a Cortex-A4, not an ARM11. The proprietary OS on it is also really quite watered down, allowing less CPU use, I feel. All the functionality the iPhone has, is completely due to applications. There is no real use of the OS other than as a surface to run off of, at least to my knowledge. So, no ours will feel a little slower than the iPhone.
