If it has happened twice, I'd think about whether there is anything in your environment that could be doing this. It's not that having 2 units with the same defect is impossible, but this isn't being reported as a major problem for this device. You have any other problems with devices that could be caused by power surges, lack of proper grounding, etc? Or maybe some very nonstandard app? Maybe not, but worth thinking about before you get your third.
