The other setting I couldn't find that others seemed to get with no probs was the "AUTO DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENTS" setting for E-mail. When I phoned orange i also had proof that my phone should have been generic.! I still had the invoice that came with the phone that clearly stated Generic handset. That helped a lot. good luck.
