Been running Launcher2 all day with no issues. Not one FC. The scrolling in the app drawer is a little sluggish, but I'm not sure if that is inherent in that it wants to stick to a certain amount of apps in one screen shot. The DroidMod LWP works really well, and the darker background really compliments the rest of my desktop.
As far as the scripts and/or options he includes; it's all up to you what you want to add or delete. It's really nice that he adds the options.
For the two features alone, 0.9 is a great update from the previous versions. (haven't tried Koush's, but there have been folks on AllDroid that say this is better, perhaps Pete fanboys
