Not planning to move to 4G soon, unless I find a Connect at a great price. I don't use a lot of data, and I don't need the faster speed really. Music streams fast enough on 3G for Pandora, and that's the most data I use. At home or work I use wi-fi, anywhere else, I'm usually driving, and don't need the data except for music.
And since rooting, I've overclocked to just shy of 800mhz anyway...and I like the phone. It's durable enough I don't use a case, and fast enough for what I use it for.
