Actually with v2 it is totally easy to customize beyond the downloadable themes. Agreed that v1 was difficult to understand but v2 with icon boxes that can auto-populate your app icons based on type (multimedia, etc.), it is a total snap.

Not 2.x for sure. Judging from many other posts in this thread, I'm not the only one that had these issues. There is a common theme going (no pun intended) of slowness and FCs. I'm just calling them like I see them. While it is working fine for you, it appears there is an equal number of people for whom it is not working for.
