Since when did Sprint not push customers to buy the latest and greatest phones with the latest connectivity (WiMAX / LTE) regardless of the customer would EVER be able to connect to that WiMAX / LTE network?

* I have WiMAX coverage till across the street (When I purchased the EVO 4G, Sprint told me that there was an antenna issue that was being addressed - years later, it is non-existent, and Sprint updated the coverage maps to indicate zero Wimax coverage here).
* With LTE, it shows full coverage at my residence and office. Of course I can't connect to LTE unless I go a few miles away to the next city.

It sucketh!

I really like Sprint's SERO plan, but honestly, had it not been for that (and most of their customer service agents that I've interacted with in the past few years), I probably would have switched to a GSM carrier (and a true GNex) a long time ago
