I'm new to both Straight Talk and GSM, but I've only recently heard of GSM carriers doing anything to block the use of a specific phone, and only in the context of preventing the use of stolen phones. Is this blacklisting of the phone itself for violating the TOS something that's actually happened to someone, or is it just theoretical?
