Another thing that's missing are the advanced power management settings my last HTC (2.3.4) phone had. You used to be able to turn off wifi, sync, dim screen, etc once the battery level reached a certain point (30%, 20% etc).
At first I thought it was HTC but now I think it might be ICS vs. Gingerbread.
I have this sneaking suspicion that so far I like Gingerbread more than ICS. At least the CM7 version of gingerbread. Things just seemed to make more sense. Like, for example, did anyone realize that you need to ultimately configure your ringtones in the "Personalize" menu under the "Sound" tab, down at the bottom of the screen? It took me weeks to figure that out, as my default email notifications kept reverting back to something I hadn't chosen, and then finally I stumbled on it. Seems to be no rhyme or reason for this and a lot of other things. The linked volumes on ringtones and notifications is just plain stupid, in my opinion...
