dont unroot.
if you relock,re-unlocking will wipe your data. no way around that.
you dont need to be completely stock,meaning you dont need to relock. if youve deleted some apps that you need back for the update to work,you can use the first part of this to restore stock GB,and then restore your data:

you can try and update manually,or just use the first steps to get your software ready.
if youre on 2.10 hboot,you wont get the OTA until youve run an ruu to get yourself completely on the 2.01.605.11 software and firmware.
so youll need to:
-backup data
-relock and run full ruu
-reunlock and restore data
at that point you can install updates manually or wait for OTA.
