I had my phone plugged into my extension outlet under my desk and thought it was plugged into my laptop USB.
I tend to change from laptop to extension depending upon if I'm in
a hurry or not to charge my phone.

PS: Phone arrived today with no sim card. I have to insert sim card from broken phone.
Does this mean I don't have to bother to save anything on my old phone to
my laptop ?
