I dont even see an upgrade price for the one v to be a hotspot. Only for the Evo...

Do you think rooting into the phone could help? Maybe "fix" what Virgin did to the phone? I wonder if third party root required apps would work, of if Virgin crippled part of the OS to make that not work either.

I know a full custom OS would work, but it can be a pain dealing with it. Getting a different rom is no issue, just fixing all the proxy settings, apn settings, etc.

Any ideas?
